This celebration of life, health, and wellness offers participants the choice of a 3K (1.8-mile) walk or a 5K (3.1-mile) run through the beautiful grounds of one of the nation’s oldest municipal parks. The day’s festivities include an old-fashioned barbecue with live music by Still Above Ground. “This will be a great day for Phoenix House,” Neil Gaer, vice president, senior program director, and director of clinical affairs at Phoenix House, said. “Forest Park is a beautiful location for running or walking, and what better way is there to emphasize our commitment to healthy minds and healthy bodies? We’re hoping to see a great crowd!”
